ONE-TO-ONE MARKETING SUCCESS STORY

 

The inside of the self-mailer featured a chalkboard-type message that greeted the prospect by name and commented on the success (or lack thereof) of their favorite team. Through message versioning, the content was tailored to match the performance of each team.

 

The inside also included the team's logo and current conference standings. The team records were updated just before going to press, so the communication was very accurate and timely.

 

The self-mailer concluded with a message about Mercury Printing and the power of personalized direct mail. It included a photo of each prospect's sales representative and their contact information.

 

The response to this campaign was overwhelmingly positive. We mailed out close to 1,000 units and received 162 phone calls or emails from our prospects. A 16.2% response rate for direct mail is pretty good by any measure!
